If you wish to drop a course you must do so prior to the relevant census date in each study period. If you withdraw after the census date you will incur the relevant course fees, and the course(s) will be recorded on your academic record. Appeals against fees will not be upheld on the grounds that you were unaware of the census date.

  • Select the relevant study period from the Manage myEnrolment page
  • Select the checkbox next to the correct course
  • Select the 'Drop selected courses' button.
  • Double-check you are dropping the correct course and then click 'Confirm Drop'

If you are dropping the last course for a particular study period you will receive a warning message. This lets you know that if you do not enrol into another course, you need to fill in a  Leave of Absence or Withdrawal from Program form found on the UniSA website under Student Forms.

You can drop a course from your enrolments via myEnrolment at any time up until the study period Withdraw Fail Date (WF). Please note that if you do drop a course and gain a WF, this affects your Grade Point Average (GPA).

If you wish to cancel your enrolment, you must do so prior to the relevant census date in each study period. If you withdraw after the census date you will incur the relevant course fees, and the course(s) will be recorded on your academic record. Appeals against fees will not be upheld on the grounds that you were unaware of the census date.

If you need to drop a course because of exceptional and extenuating circumstances (such as ill health), you may apply for an Application for Amendment to Enrolment and Fees in Special Circumstances which can be found under Student Forms.

If you would like to change classes within a course, see How do I swap tutorial class and keep the same lecture?

If you are active in two different programs (degrees) and would like to withdraw from one of them, please complete a Withdrawal from Program form found under Student Forms and submit it to Campus Central.
